I have worked within the catering end of the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Primarily worked as a chef manager preparing, and organising, and executing large scale events for Master Chef John Coughlan. Undoubtedly, I gained a tremendous amount of experience and equally a business acumen required to manage a successful business.
On 2018 I decided to take a break from this career, and pursued a Higher Diploma in food science technology. Subsequently, this time presented an opportunity research create and a develop a new innovative product. It was at this time, during my year long H. Dip the concept of hemp based foods was first hatched. In addition I developed and created Ireland’s first hemp CBD bar
At Evolve hemp foods we research, create and educate and moreover deliver sustainable innovative hemp based beneficial foods. Designed to support and promote wellness and health nutrition.
As well as that, since launching Ireland’s first hemp bar on August 2019. We have linked in with Irish farmers and producers from around the country to explore the opportunities for other hemp based food concepts. At Evolve we have extensively researched the global market and tested our concepts and ideas, which have led to the development of Evolve’s flagship products.
Proudly, we have forged alliances with some of the top artisan farmers and producers in the country. We want to partner with people who’s values and principles mirror what we aim to achieve.

Richard Anthony is a professional chef. Accredited with a Diploma in Culinary Arts. Holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Culinary Arts. Awarded a Higher Diploma in Food Science Technology and is currently studying for his masters
he is founder of Evolve hemp foods and creator of Ireland’s first hemp CBD bar. Europe’s first CBD Protein bar, and is currently developing a line of hemp CBD infused foods for the global market. Richard is a proponent of sustainable Irish organic produce.
Processes and procedure and finished products are carried out at HQ, a HSE approved facility.
Admittedly, still in its infancy we have managed to partner up with award winning producers. “To create the best, you’ve got to have the best possible produce”.I’m really inspired by our Irish farmers and producers, we are using certified organic Hemp, from all parts of Ireland. And, we’ve raw unfiltered Honey from the midlands. We we infuse with CBD protein bars. We are using local organic award wining Angus. And we are also working with an award winning local organic bean to bar chocolate artisan. Of course we are especially interested in working with more in the future
Richard’s married to his best friend, his wife Cynthia who is from Latvia. The pair met in 2007, and married 2009.They have two children, daughter Maria Faith, and son Anthony Jacob.
